Hi, I'm Ashlee — photographer, memory-keeper, and mama to four wild-hearted boys.
My journey into photography began the way many beautiful things do — quietly and unexpectedly. As a mom of four, life moves fast. The little glances, muddy feet, giggles in golden light... I found myself wanting to freeze those fleeting moments before they slipped away. What started as a way to document our everyday chaos turned into a deep love for storytelling through the lens.
Now, I have the joy of capturing that same magic for others — the soft in-betweens, the real laughs, the messy, beautiful love that makes your story yours.
I’m drawn to the honest, unscripted moments — hands held tight, hair blowing in the breeze, teary smiles, and tiny details that speak louder than words. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a new baby, or a barefoot family session at sunset, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel like home.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me chasing my boys, soaking up quiet moments, or barefoot in the backyard with a book and a blanket or tending to our garden. I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s make something beautiful together — and freeze time, just for a little while.
A little about my style...
My photography style is rooted in authenticity — a natural, organic approach that seeks to uncover the quiet beauty in real life. I believe the most powerful images are the ones that feel honest: a genuine laugh, a fleeting glance, sunlight slipping through leaves. My goal isn’t to perfect a moment, but to preserve it as it truly was.
I work with minimal editing, allowing natural tones, textures, and light to tell the story. Rather than transforming an image, I enhance what’s already there — the warmth of golden hour, the softness of a cloudy afternoon, the emotion that lives in a simple gesture. Every photograph is a reflection of how it felt to be there, not just how it looked.
This approach is about presence. It’s about slowing down enough to notice the in-between moments — the ones that often go unseen but hold the most truth. Through my lens, I aim to capture life as it unfolds: raw, unfiltered, and deeply human.
